Description
Rya Wall Hanging or Rug. Weave a rya wall hanging or rug using a simple and quick technique. The pile-forming threads are thrown with a shuttle and cut during finishing. The shuttle-thrown pile weft is dense, as two pile wefts overlap. Wool yarn is well-suited for pile threads, but you can also experiment with other types of yarn. The warp is 12-ply cotton twine. This is another project where you can use up small amounts of yarn.
